Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of DrumSoloLab (the “Service”), operated by Antony O'Farrell. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
1. What DrumSoloLab does
DrumSoloLab analyses audio you provide and produces approximate drum transcriptions (“grooves”) that you can edit, play back, print, save, and optionally share. Transcriptions are automated estimates, not note-perfect or professionally verified, and are provided as a practice aid.
2. Your account
You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country to sign up. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.
3. Audio you upload
You must have the right to use any audio you upload. Upload files you own, have created, or are otherwise permitted to process. Audio is used only to generate your transcription; we do not store your uploaded audio files after processing (see our Privacy Policy).
4. Your content and public grooves
You keep ownership of the grooves you create and edit. When you mark a groove as public, you grant DrumSoloLab a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and let others view and play it within the Service for as long as it stays public. You can make a groove private or delete it at any time. You’re responsible for what you publish, including any notes, titles, and artist attributions you add.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t use the Service to infringe others’ rights, upload content you have no right to, attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service, or post unlawful, abusive, or misleading material. We may remove content or restrict accounts that do.
6. Copyright and takedown requests
We respect intellectual-property rights and expect users to do the same. If you believe content on DrumSoloLab infringes your copyright, send a notice to info@drumsololab.com including:
- your name and contact details;
- identification of the work you say is infringed;
- the link (URL) to the specific groove or page in question;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn’t authorised by the rights holder or the law; and
- a statement that the information is accurate and that you’re the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
We aim to review valid notices promptly and will remove or disable access to content we determine to be infringing. We may remove content at our discretion and terminate accounts of repeat infringers.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. Transcriptions may be inaccurate or incomplete. We don’t warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Antony O'Farrell won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited under applicable law.
9. Changes
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. We’ll update the date above when we do; continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
